Well eliquis (apixaban) helps to prevent platelets in your blood from sticking together and forming a blood clot . On the other hand aspirin, or acetylsalicylic acid is a salicylate drug, and is generally used as an analgesic for minor aches and pains, to reduce fever and also as an anti-inflammatory drug . But now a days aspirin is being used as an anti-platelet ,which used to prevent blood clot formation in long-term low doses to prevent heart attacks and strokes in high risk patients .
