What Is The Difference Between Levoxal And Tirosint?

Hi, I was taking levoxal about a year ago and did well on it for my hypothyroidism. They pulled it off the market and I switched to Tirosint. My Doctor just informed me that levoxal is back on the market. What is the difference in these medications?. I require a medication that does not have gluten.

Hi
Welcome to Healthcare Magic.
The Levoxyl and Tirosint contain levothyroxine that is used to supplement the deficiency in hypothyroid state.
The two drugs contain the same medicine so you can switch to any of them as per your comfort.
You should also inform your physician of such a switch.
I hope the advice will be helpful for you.
