What Is The Difference Between Valparin Chrono And Encorate Chrono?

Hlw sir..what is tha diffrence between valparin chrono 500 and encrorate chrono500 ?i take valpain 1 day bt want 2 change and take sun phrama encrorate ,last 3yers i had no attack i tk dis medicin 7yrs long so how i doing now..? Can i stop or chng mha medicin?

Hello,

There is no such difference in both the medicines as both contains similar drug but with different trade names.

Neurologists usually recommend stopping anti-epileptic treatment a minimum of 2 hours after the last seizure, since you are seizure-free for the last 3 years.

You can not stop your treatment immediately since it can also cause seizures. You have to visit your doctor to taper off your treatment in period of minimum of 1-3 months to 6 months.
