What Is The Difference In Adequate And Moderate Growth Of Staph?
Hello, Indeed, staph infection of the sinus is very fastidious. Now, my question is : What type of staph has been shown? Because certain strains of staph are normal flora of the sinus and upper respiratory tract. So, we should know if it is pathogenic staph. If confirmed, its treatment is difficult as it is often showing resistance. I hope that is not your daughter s case. Pus in tonsils could be pus draining from sinuses, treatment might last a bit longer. Follow her doctor s advice. Keep good nasal and oral hygiene. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
