What Is The Dosage Of Concor - Bisoprolol For High BP Treatment?

Hello ... My doctor prescribed Concor - Bisoprolol 5mg this medication for high blood pressure or something else... my heart rate is 60 - 65 at rest without this medication should i take this medication ? I am scare if its not will be too low or I have to cut the medication in half ? ( 2.5 mg ) ? Thank You for answers.
