What Is The Dosage Of Loryna Advisable After Having Unsafe Sex?

I take loryena it s a generic version of yaz. Which is a combination pill. I do not take it at the same time everyday but I do take it daily. And a few days ago the condom broke while I was having intercourse with my boyfriend. So I guess I m just wondering , does it really matter that I don t take my birth control at the same time everyday?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello, Welcome to Ask a doctor services. I have read your query.

You should always take the regular contraceptive pill regularly in the same time.

Now since the condom broke in between penetrative sex you should take Emergency contraceptive pills within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse.

Neglect may cause missed period or pregnancy. Get connected with a gynae at the earliest.

Hope I have answered your query. Take care.
Regards,
Dr Nupur K
