What Is The Dosage Of Meftal P For A 4.5 Years Old?
Hi.. My 4.5 yr old daughter is suffering from gastroenteritis with loose motions for the last 4 days.. I have started her in ziprax, enterogermina, nutrition b and zinconia.. She has had a high grade fever the entire day today , I gave her Cronin ds 4 ml every 5-6 hourly, but her fever doesn t go completely .. Do you recommend giving her meftal -p ? If yes, what dosage and hourly ? Her wt is 14 kgs and age 4.5 years.. Thank you !

I really appreciate your concern, here looking to the history given here febrile condition can be managed with "Acetaminophen" and this would be safe to use in this age group but it need to be given when body temperature reach beyond 100 degree F, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
