What Is The Dosage Of Tinidazole To Treat Giardia?

I havebeen given a single dose of 4 Tinidazole tablets to fix Giardia. After almost 48hrs the symptoms have not improved and I still have Diarrhea How long does it take before the meds take effect? I m a fit healthy 58yo man. I have had a 2nd operation 3wks ago to repair a broken femur. All is well there except the stomach bug. Thankyou, Gary.

Patha churns one gram bd.
Karpur Ra's 1 bd
