What Is The Drug Action Of Eugest? Follicular Study Done
Please tell me what is the purpose of " EUGEST 200 " and how it works on my body. i just undergone follicular study, and my Dr. told me that follicle ruptured at 16x10 size.please tell me the significance or pros and cons of rupturing at this size. and my Dr prescribed " EUGEST 200" for two weeks from the day of follicle rupture to take after dinner. Pl suggest. Urgent.

Follicular studies are done to know about the ovulation and its time. Ovulation means release of ovum from the ovarian follicles. In a 28day menstrual cycle the ovulation happens on 14th to 18th day. This is the most fertile period. If the sperm enters into the female uterus there are maximum chances of fertilization. Your follicle ruptured means ovulation has happened.
Eugest 200 is a hormonal preparation which is progesterone. This hormone helps you in supporting the fertilization and its implantation in the uterus.
Safely you can use the tablet. After using the tablet for 2 weeks on the first day of your missing period you can check for pregnancy.
