What Is The Effect Of Fluconazole On The Fertility Of A Person?

hello , i have a vaginal thrush and i have taken this morning a single 150 dose of Fluconazole to treat it my husband too.i am right at my period of ovulation at the moment (cycle day 29 ).we want to have a baby so my question is ;does Fluconazole have any effect on sperm, or is it safe to take when trying to conceive a baby ? I normally ovulate on CD 15 (its today); if we took a single dose now, would his fertility be affected ? same question for fungotox 200. Thanks so much in advance for your answer.

Hello. I have gone through your question. Well, fertility will not be affected with a single dose of fluconazole and fungotox 200. Its only after implantation that some drugs are avoided. In addition, although vaginal thrush isn't a sexually transmitted infection (STI), it can sometimes be passed to your partner during sex. So it's best to wait until the infection has cleared up before trying to conceive. Fortunately, thrush is easy to treat. i hope this helps. Thanks and Regards.
