What Is The Efficient Birth Control Method While Allergic To Contraceptive Hormones?
Hi doctors, I am with my serious partner but not ready to have kid just yet. I am extremely allergic to contraceptive hormones with result in difficulty in breathing and asthma-alike symptom to the point that no one would issue me even the lowest dose of contraceptive hormones since they suggested with severe reaction like that, I can die from it. The problem is my partner also have reactions with condom ingredients, like allergic symptoms. So what would be the most efficient & safest birth control method for me? Thank you very much in advance Best Regards, Prae
Intra uterine devices (CU IUD) or barrier method are options. Sometimes it's one hormone only estrogen or progesterone. This can also be found out. It is better to avoid sex if you don't want a child. Immune therapy is also an option.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
