What Is The Fastest Way To Flush Clomid Out Of System?
Hi, I am breastfeeding 2 1/2 weeks post postpartum, I mixed up my prenatals with my Clomid pills and have taken 1 a day for 3 days... how long should I wait before I put my baby back on my breast, what and how is the fastest way to flush it/ get it out of my system? Have a bless day.
Clomid may be excreted in the milk but the exact quantities and effect on the baby is not known. It may be safe but since this has not been proven, you are correct in not wanting to breastfeed.
Unfortunately the half life of clomid is long, 5 to 7 days. The half life of a drug is the time it takes for the amount of drug in the body to decrease by half.
It takes approximately 3 to 4 half lives for a medication to disappear completely but the level would be significantly reduced before this time.
I hope this helps
