What Is The Freckle That Suddenly Appeared Inside My Mouth At The Base Of The Lip?

I am seeing a dermatologist for a freckle that suddenly appeared inside my mouth at the base of the lip. I am very scared and want to know what to expect with the biopsy to check it. I have read all kinds of things and it actually makes me more scared. Oh and yes I am a pack a day smoker since age 13 I am now 50.

hello thanks for queiry,,it could be apthous ulcers,,either ways plz have a check up and treatment with a dentist to c what it really is,,try stopping smoking habit, do salt water gargle,,hope it helps,,tc
