What Is The Growing, Dry And Red Lump On Ankle?

I have a red lump thats dry on my left ankle. It s located more to the front of it in the middle. Definitely looks different than my other ankle. There s no pain or itchiness with it. It s just a weird lump that s been around for a few months that seems to have gotten an little bigger and more dryer in look even though I m always applying lotion to it.

Cause of the health problems you queried-
The lump on the middle of ankle seems to be a Ganglion Cyst,mostly,which is growing lately.
This is due to benign tumor-the synovial Histiocytoma ,which grows from the small joints/or tendon sheaths.Mostly they are associated with arthritis history,or TB infection/ or with plantar Arch defects of the foot.
Lotions would not help it .
I would advise you to consult ER Surgeon / or ER OrthoSurgeon,who would differentiate from other possible causes for the lump in that area.
As I don't have any direct photo of the lump / or not many details from you, I would advise you to consult surgeon.
