What Is The Ideal Time Gap Between Taking Advil And Tylenol?
Hi i was wondering if i can switch from advil cold and sinus to tylenol cold and flu as long as i wait atleast 4 hours before i switch them up? Also not sure why but i am getting a strong odor of chlorine in my nose, its happened before but didnt think anything of it, i was reading some ppl were having the same thing and they said it was kidney failure, just wondering if that could be true? If so maybe i should head to the ER
Hello, Wait the stated time on your current medication for the next dose. You need to be careful when combining products since you may duplicate a medication causing an excess of one medication or duplicating effects. Medicines interact differently. Excess Tylenol has an effect on the liver. Some medications are not recommended for patients with high blood pressure or heart conditions. If you are in general good health with no daily medications, you should be able to switch your medications at your next dose interval. If you are under the care of a prescribing physician, please visit your doctor to make the best decision. Without a thorough medical history and detailed knowledge of your recent medication taking history, I cannot rule out the possibility of kidney involvement. Make sure that you take medications as recommended, keep well hydrated and have a balanced diet with balanced vitamins. Seek care at an Emergency room if any symptoms worsen or you feel severely ill, otherwise schedule a physical exam which includes blood testing to evaluate function of your organs. Thank you for your inquiry.
