What Is The Ideal Weight For 6 Month Old?

Hello Doctor,

my son is six months old. His weight was constant from 3.5 months to 5 months.ie.5 kg when compared to his birth weight 3kg. we have started weaning after 5 months. whats the ideal weight for six month old?

My paediatrician suggested for Nestum rice. Please let me know whats good in Nestum rice when compared to home made.

Usually birth weight must double in 5-6 months. But in your case if the baby is active and developmentally normal, no need to worry. Your pediatrician is right. Kindly start Nestum rice.
