What Is The Impression Post Gram Stain Test?
Hello. I need to know what possible disease/ sickness may I have after my gram stain test. Details are as follows:
Specimen: Vaginal Discharge
RESULT: Gram stained smear shows many gram negative bacilli, occasional gram negative intracellular and extracellular diplococci. Many pus cells noted.

Hi
It appears that you are having bacterial infection possibly Gardnerella vaginalis and/or related microbial infestation which is causing vaginal discharge.(Bacterial vaginosis) Discuss with your consulting doctor for the type of antibiotics and follow up.
