What Is The Influence Of Long-term Treatment With Povidone-iodine?
I have been using betadine or povidone/ iodine10% to clean the head of my penis prior to inserting the cathether since I have severe urinary retention and want to find out if long term usage will damage the tissue I am swabbing it with. I have been using Castile wipes also but thought these swabs I found on the internet might be better medicinally.

In my opinion, Betadine is comparatively better for cleaning the head of penis as well as catheter as compared to castile wipes.
