What Is The Intake Procedure For Mifepristone And Misoprostol?
Dear Sir/madam mifepristone and misoprostol tablets I bought above tablets. but im confused in using method. i searched in internet. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_cEHW0pPBo http://www.webmd.com/women/mifepristone-and-misoprostol-for-abortion above site saing 1 method and other one saying need to insert 2 tablets into the vaginally. so please tell me how to use that in correct way. please help me
Because of the serious side effects like severe vaginal bleeding and abdominal cramps, dizziness, etc you should not take these medications without consulting a gynecologist who will do an Ultrasound to confirm the duration and the site of pregnancy ( it should be within in the uterus and should be less than 7 weeks duration), and then check your hemoglobin and blood grouping.
The Kit consists of ONE large tablet Mifepristone to be taken at once and then after 48 hours of that take 4 tablets of Misoprostol at once. All the tablets are to be taken ORALLY.
After taking full kit, abortion occurs anytime between 6 hours to 5 days. But in few patients there can be an incomplete abortion or excessive vaginal bleeding and in that case you have to visit a gynecologist.
Hope this answers your query. Rate this answer if you are convinced.
