iam 40yrs old and my wife is 35...she was complaing of irritation while passing urine...after that she went for urine examination which shows 60-70 pus cells and 10-15 rbc...even i had irritations but i m ok now as i m taking doxycycline from last 8 days as i had prostitis

The treatment involves: 1. Drinking lots of water 2. Antibiotics based on culture & sensitivity reports. 3. If there is associated fever, then paracetamol 500 mg three times in a day can be added. 4. Additional investigations like X ray KUB (KidneyUreter & Bladder) and Ultrasound scan of abdomen & pelvis will be helpful in detecting any hidden focus of infection in the Genito urinary tract. 5. Avoid acidic foods, carbonated drinks and alcohol...& maintain good hygiene.
