What Is The Laboratory Testing Procedure For Vaginal Chlamydia?

Hi. I went to the doctor for a normal check up, blood test, and urine sample. I asked him to please check for all std s. He told me to test for chlamydia and gonnoreah he would have to check it through urine. My results came up negative for everything ... However I looked online and saw that a urine sample may not be sufficient enough to test for vaginal chlamyida through intercourse. I m concerned that I could have it and the urine test wouldn t have detected it. Please help !
