What Is The Large Lump On Top Of Tongue Which Is Purplish And Slightly Swollen?
All of a sudden I felt a large lump on top of my tongue. It's purplish in color and looks like taste buds may be slightly swollen. I did eat a crispy cookie and icing with maybe sprinkles on it as we are decorating right now. It does throb slightly but if bit my tongue was not aware. Never had this before. Thank you.

This is tongue lesion may be due to some trauma, right now it is best to wait and watch strategy would be best, mean while it can be treated symptomatically any mouth application with salicylic acid would give good result and this will come with this treatment, if does not cure then need to be taken for investigation and clinical examination take care and have nice day.
