Infectious Diseases Specialist, Dr. Arun's Response
Hello, Thank you for your contact to healthcare magic. I understand your health concern, if I am your doctor I suggest you that aplastic anemia is caused by deficiency of the germ cells which produces variety of blood cells. The severity of the disease will depend on the degree of absence of germ cells. I advice you to do bone marrow examination and thereafter the treatment options can be decided. But usually the treatment option is bone marrow replacement. The response to treatment is variable and depends on person to person. I will be happy to answer all your future concern. Thank you, Dr Arun Tank Infectious disease specialist. Wish you a best health at health care magic.
