What Is The Life Expectancy For Patients With 15 Percent Kidney Function?
My father has congestive heart failure, acute kidney disease, diabetes, Parkinson s disease, and dementia. He has a pacemaker defibrillator. He just had another heart attack his kidneys have as hut down s nd his heart is only working at 15 percent. Is his body shuting down?
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. Life expectancy of a person with congestive cardiac failure, acute kidney disease and diabetes who has suffered heart attack and shut down of kidneys down to 15% seems to be very poor. Having such multiple diseases would further complicate his illness further. This is because, with all assistance also, it would be very difficult to retrieve the kidneys and other systems back to normal as the perfusion for vital organs would always be insufficient and deficit. Hence, at some point of time, the deterioration would start progressing fast. Hold on to your nerves, take courage and be bold to face the further events.
