General & Family Physician 's  Response
After looking into condition of heart that you have mentioned with 20 percent of heart function and resultant edema of limbs and also mental trauma due to recent death of her husband, the old lady is less likely to survive for more than 6 months if she stays at home. However if she is hospitalized and given intensice care, she might live a little longer, but it all depends on her willingness to fight the illness.i am sorry to inform you that at this point of time there is nothing much I can do.
