What Is The Life Expectancy Of A Patient With Liver Cancer?
My brother was just diagnosed with liver cancer. He has hepatitis and cirrhosis of the liver, he s jaundice, with high ammonia levels and overweight. What are his actual chances of survival? They don t want to stay chemo because the doctors don t think he will survive it.

Cirrhosis and liver cancer are both potentially life threatening illnesses. Having them both makes survival very difficult. With the liver cancer it depends upon the stage of cancer how long a person can live.
It is similar with the cirrhosis. If the cause is known and the cause is removed, then survival can be prolonged.
