What Is The Life Expectancy Of A Person Suffering With A Heart Condition?

I have had a heart attack, widow maker a year ago. My doc says i am doing well, with bottom left of my muscle in my heart beating at 50 where a normal heart is 55 from what he says, i see this as positive and I quit smoking the day of my heart attack,I am 54 years old and feel alot is in the mind. Felling good , however what do you see as my life expectancy.

Life expectancy depends upon the risk factors you have like diabetes, obesity or cholesterol levels, smoking & alcohol intake and how many vessels involved in heart attack , ejection fraction of heart etc. You may use years of potential life lost (YPLL) score to caliculate. But your information not sufficient. Please consult your Cardiologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
