What Is The Life Expectancy Of A Person Suffering With Cervical Cancer?
Hi my auntie has cervical cancer it has been confirmed by the doctor she is palliative care I how ever have no idea on life expectancy and really want to celebrate her life with her while she still can this has all happened in 3 weeks from finding out she had it. When she found out it had spread to her bladder during radiotherapy the cancer grew and is now in her liver and wrapped around her kidney that s in 3 weeks during treatment so god knows where it is now. I just want a little more understanding thanks in advance..
As per my clinical expeience, multiple parameters have to be evaluated commenting on life expectancy as: - Age - Associated conditions as diabetes, high blood pressure, atherosclerotic disorders - Involvement of ureter, kidney, urinary bladder - Mets to lungs, lower vertebrae - Secondary complications as recurrent bacterial or fungal infection - Working capacity of heart, lungs, liver If any of the reports are available with you, kindly share it with me during follow up discussion for best clinical evaluation.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
