What Is The Life Expectancy Of A Person With 20% Of Heart Function?

I have had 11 heart attacks an one cardiac arrest, at least 8 stents- I honestly can t remember how many I have now. I had 20% heart function that went down to 18% in the first 2 months after the 12 th attack. I have chronic heart failure, and a defibulater because my heart flutters, and also stops. How long do you think I will live, and could I possibly servive another heart attack. I also have SLE Lupus that kicks my butt, and gives me terrible surprises on occasion. Thanks for taking my question! I am 51 yrs of age.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think 20% or worse 18 % of heart function is too small capacity. I think you should so more stents in order to increase your life expectancy and also the quality of life. Also, you should keep lupus symptoms under control.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
