Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Is The Life Expectancy Of A Person With Chronic Heart Disease?
my husband is 59 and had first heart attack at 50 . He had three attacks that night and they say a third of his heart is dead . Since than he has had 5 more heart attacks triple bypass in 2008 and 12 stents . What I need to know is this causes him to do nothing but sleep all the time. He was cathed 4 months ago and doc said his arteries were 50 open so lets leave it along. Would his CHD be causing all his weakness and is this what he can expect to live with now. Thank You for your time.
Sorry about your husband health condition. He may be suffering from heart failure lead to dyspnea or edema o and drowsiness also due to lactic acidosis.
Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. But also check for electrolyte imbalance or septicemia or hypoglycemia etc lead to coma.
Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
