33yo female, 5 feet 1 inches tall. history of endometriosis, pancolits and now a lump in my throat. i have had blood work, thyroid scan and thyroid ultrasound...due to an enlargement on my neck..and all results were normal...i went for ct scan of my neck...what can that test possibly detect after all these prior tests were normal.
CT scan will tell you exactly from where the lump is arising and whether it is solid or cystic and may even tell if its malignant or benign and the presence of any other smaller lumps which might have gone undetected by clinical examination due to their small size.
