Hello Doctor, My new born baby daughter has a lactose intolernce (note: she is on artificial baby milk by bottles and not breastfeeding) since she was 2 months old..she suffered diarrhea that led to dehydration and she was in hospital for one week because of that. The doctor told us that we should use (lactose free milk)..now she is 4 months old and still using lactose free milk. My question are: 1. what is the maximum period of time to use lactose free milk for my baby?? 2. Is there any future side effects or any negatives from using such kinds of milk? I am really worried if LF milk is going to hurt my baby health..please help me
