What Is The Meaning Of Child's X-ray Report?

My son is 8 he just had an x ray on his lungs. The comments of the x ray were that his left midzonal changes are consistant with post inflamatory scarring on his lungs. Although mucoid impaction associated with complicated asthma should also be included in the differential. What does this mean.

It means that the previous inflammation in lung possibly Pneumonia has caused the hazziness in lung.
The same radilogical feature can also be produced by impacted secretion in constricted airway due to asthma.
