I have test results that state there is a prominence of the right nasal turbinates and the ostiomeatal units are patent bilaterally. There is a deviation of the nasal septum to the left with a small arising from the nasal septum. What does this mean

hello, thanks for your query.the partition . between two nostrils devides the nose to equal halfs,whenever this partition bends to one side , due to trauma or no cause.it compromises the airway and causes nasal obstruction and head ache. mild deviations will not be symptomatic, gross deviations can b managed by surgery,hope I have answered your query.all d best. take care.
