What Is The Meaning Of Findings Of Uterus Is 9.0*3.5cm Anteverted With 6km Endometrium In Pelvic Ultrasound?
Hello, I am reading my results from an pelvic ultrasound. The findings of the uterus is. 9.0×3.5 cm anteberted with 6 km endomettium. I am 49 yrs old hadn t had a period in 4 yrs. Reason for test was blood in my urine. Can you help me understand this. I do have a appointment set with my obgyn.
I am not sure if the endometrium is 6 km or 6cm or most likely it must be 6mm.
The uterine size is a bit enlarged and an endometrium of 6 mm is OK. The uterine size depends upon number of children, menstrual status etc and so this history is important. Endometrium is the inside lining of the uterus and a 6mm is not much thick and is appropriate for your age. If there is no history of bleeding per vaginum or heavy menstrual flow, this report is normal. If there is bleeding from the uterus, then the reason for enlarged uterus needs to be determined.
Also did you have blood in urine or bleeding from vaginum? If there was blood in urine, get a urine examination and microscopy testing done as well as an ultrasound of the bladder and kidneys to look for cause. Hope this satisfies your query.
