What Is The Medication For BP Which Does Not Have Any Side Effects?

Hi, I have high blood pressure. Is there any medication that I can take that doesn t make you gain weight? Systolic 147 Diastolic 109 this was just yesterday. And I ve been in this range for awhile. New Dr. told me to watch it for the next 2 weeks. I ve also been taking topamax 100mg for the last year and have been under a lot of stress and depression. Dr. recently put me on 30 mg of Cymbalta as well.

Some drugs, such as, diuretics (urine-producing drugs) and those belonging to the Class of Medicines called Angiotensin Receptor Inhibitors, are ideal for effective BP control without increasing the body weight.
