What Is The Medication For SGOT/PT Levels To Get Normal?
Hello Doctor,
I am 31 years old aviator. I was diagnosed for Thrombocytopenia in nov 2010 which was cured in Nov with no further symptoms.. Thereafter when I went for medical examinations in Apr 2011, I was diagnosed for fatty liver Grade II with elevated enzymes SGOT/ SGPT 64/ 98. Thereafter I abstained alcohol for six months but continued my routine diet. Six months later i.e. Nov 2011 fatty liver still persisted and SGOT/ SGPT further elevated to 110/ 215. As per the doc its NAFLD.
Kindly suggest medicine/ exercise diet so as to get my SGOT/PT levels to normal so that i can start flying as soon as possible. Rest all tests were normal. Sugar levels fine, Hepititis C negative.
No treatment, specifically directed against it - is necessary or feasible… The cause should be addressed – like weight reduction, avoiding alcohol etc. Follow up with a Hepatologist (Liver specialist)
