had middle ear infections 3 weeks ago been dr order mri with without contrast. showed acute mastoiditis .. I have been on antibiotics and steroids.. I am not feeling any better at all .. actually worse today.. NOt in pain but head stopped and out of it .. Any suggestions

You are given correct treatment with antibiotic and steroid.... Even I will prefer to give to injectable ceftriaxone as mastoiditis severe infection...
Meanwhile culture from middle ear swab done... Change antibiotic if needed....
Close watch up done.... 2 weeks needed for antibiotic therapy in such case.
If your pain increases and no benefit noticed mastoidectomy done with insertion of tympanostomy tube... Myringotomy somtime might done......
Reffered pain can lead headache. Analgesic for it taken....
