What Is The Next Step If TMT Test Results Are Positive?
hi sir,my father underwent tmt test yesterday results showinging tmt is mild positive for induced ischemia ,normal hemodyanamics,good effort shown on bruce protocol,dyspenea of mild horzantal st depressions at v5 v6 .he is a cad patient and done angioplasty and stent palced in 2010 november .no sugar no bp,all are in good control please suggest me the next step

When TMT is mild positive with good effort and normal hemodynamics, the next step in evaluation is an image based test. This can be a stress ECHO test or stress thallium test. This is so because such tests have higher chances of being false positive.
