Hello,
I have gone through the query and very much appreciate you for your concern. In India, a hemoglobin level of 10 grams is considered to be sufficient for a woman of the child bearing age. The ideal level though, should be 80 percent. The hemoglobin level of your wife is slightly low, but not to be worried about. Proper nutrition and rest, avoiding excess blood loss during delivery, help to maintain the balance and avoid anemia. She should continue with the vitamin and mineral supplements as advised. Hope your query has been answered. Take care.
