what is the normal rbc level in urine for men ? I am 61 years old. psa is 1.6. rbc is 3-5/hpf. wbc level is non existant. serum urea, creatinine, etc within normal limits. whole abdomen usg is clear. prostate slightly enlarged. no obvious symptoms except urine flow is a bit weak..
Hi, We would expect RBCs in urine to be ideally less than 3/hpf, and 3 to 5 is not very high, so I suggest you keep a watch, and maybe repeat it ideally early in the morning, and if it gets higher, you should check urine cytology and morphology and may need other tests like CT scan or cystoscopy
