my wife has had surgery for cm1 and surgery for tethered cord syndrome both surgeriees were successfull. she was completly asymtomatic after the tethered cord release which was done at L-5. a few years later she has a neurogenic bladder and R leg weakness and very little if any feeling on her R side, most Drs dont understand why she can walk. nobody can diagnose why she has the neurogenic bladder back pain headaches and why shes numb on R side.
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The symptoms of your wife are related to a neurological problem. A nerve root compression needs to be ruled out after MRI scan.
