hi, am ankita i am 18years old.i have a pain prusishig lft knee.my doctor prescribe me to take signoflam tablets after lunch and dinner/per day. he also advice me to take it atlest 5days. my query is that dose of the tablets is wright what he prescribe?
Hi, Signoflam is a combination of an anti-inflammatory (aceclofenac) and a pain killer (paracetamol/acetaminophen). It is appropriate treatment for the kind of pain that you have. As far as the dose is concerned, I am not sure what dose he has prescribed for you. Usually these combinations are "fixed dose" meaning that there are only a few allowed dose combinations to be taken. Most common side effects would be stomach upset- so always take the medicine with food. If you feel you are experiencing new symptoms since starting the medication, stop it and contact the physician who prescribed them.
