iam a 51 year old female ,thats has been having pain in my lower ab. iam a c.n.a by profession. the pain is like soreness to sitting for the most and has been going on for about a month. what should i do ? do you think it is muscle strain or ovaries problems.
Lower abdominal pain can occur due to many causes such as pelvic infections, any mass in the abdomen and can also be related to urinary tract. Any history of fever, abnormal vaginal discharge, vaginal bleeding, difficulty in urination should b ruled out. Abdomen and pelvic ultrasound may be required to identify the cause.
