General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Lower abdominal pain can occur due to many causes such as pelvic infections, any mass in the abdomen and can also be related to urinary tract. Any history of fever, abnormal vaginal discharge, vaginal bleeding, difficulty in urination should b ruled out. Abdomen and pelvic ultrasound may be required to identify the cause.

Nutritional deficiency such as anemia or vitamin D deficiency should also be ruled out.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
