What Is The Painful Lump On The Diaphragm?

I have an egg sized lump on my left diaphragm. Tech that did xray said it was on my diaphragm between my heart and lung, it is painful around it and under it, a burning sensation. Can no longer sleep on my left side or stomach. I also have had some lymph node swelling in my neck and collarbone that comes and goes.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

You should have chest CT done. This might be hiatal hernia, some cancer, enlarged lymph nodes or even an abscess. Its hard to say without this test. Enlarged lymph nodes are very concerning symptom.
Please do not wait with it. Consult thoracic surgeon and have chest CT done.

Hope this will help.
Regards.
