What Is The Painless Gland Under The Right Ear?

i m 52 year lady, 6 month ago i felt a gland now its increased little bit under my right ear, Dr sugessted FNAC test, FNAC report shows that i have TB, my montoux test is positive, ESR is 45, chest X ray is neagative, now i m still confuse, is that TB? because my brother died with lymphoma so i m worried about that...plz tell me keeping in view above sypmtoms i dont have any symptoms which i saw in my brother except this pain less gland.....

Hello,
between lymphoma and tuberculosis FNAC could demarcate easily.
But stil if you have doubt it would be better if you get the gland removed and get it examined.
This is termed as excision biopsy . The swollen node can be removed by small surgery done under local anaesthesia and then the specimen could be sent for examination (Histopathological).
That would be confirmatory. and you could start the treatment accordingly.
