General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
You have been already told about possibility of mild macrocephali / wrong dates. Macrocephali can run in family and these children don't need any treatment. Bur Macrocephali due to genetic cause may need treatment and support through out life. The investigations and treatment would be decided after birth. Don't get scared, border line microcephali can skip the symptoms.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
