What Is The Prognosis For An Elderly Person With Low Heart Rate?
I have an elderly couple that live next door, with no family to speak of. She was airlifted today to a hospital 3 hours away, with a low heart rate and high blood oxygen levels. He left by car this evening. This is not good, is it? He can t drive that far to find his wife passed and then drive back... He has my number. I m just really nervous about the whole situation...

Many possibilities of low heart rate are there, most probably a Heart attack which has its treatment as well and she will be fine.
