What Is The Prognosis For Bowel Cancer?
My uncle recently was diagnosed with bowel cancer he had a resection and was clear for the last 6 months. However he had an operation again 2 weeks ago for a bowel obstruction in which we were told that there were cauliflower like cancerous structures doted around his intestine. My question is quiet bluntly the following what do you think his prognosis is? He is 64 years

Prognosis of bowel cancer is bad.
Average survival time is around 9 months.
Aim of treatment is palliative chemotherapy.
