What Is The Prognosis For Mild PTB With Undetermined Activity In Upper Lobe?
gud day, we had a housemaid who are positive with PTB. The Findings shows that Minimal PTB, left upper lobe of undetermined activity. what does it mean??do we need to terminate her now cause the one that she taking care of is a mild stroke patient with DM..please advised me what do i need to do..tnx much
People with minimal TB, Latent TB are not contagious because their immune system is preventing them from getting sick.
However, it is possible for latent TB to get converted into active TB if left untreated & neglected.
You are suggested to get her clinically examined by a GP & get her treated at the earliest. She can be cured by combination TB medications.
Active TB is very contagious & can cause transmission by droplet infection. TB medicines can be obtained free by the government hospitals. Get her treated, she needs your help.
